» Lynn1969 - Grade Inflation

Grades are, for the most part, subjective. Depending on the professor and college you attend, a "grade" may or may not actually reflect performance. Some colleges have ceased issuing grades and simply use a pass/fail system.

Are grades important? Maybe, maybe not. If a student will progress onwards in education--yes. If a student is moving into employment--not really. Most employers look for credits/degrees earned rather than grades.
